Preparation for the photo shoot!

I always recommend avoiding bright or busy patterns for clothing.

Please skip your child’s favorite princess dresses or Batman shorts, and opt for simple outfits in one or two colors.

If you’d like to use extra props for the photoshoot—such as flowers, soap bubbles, food,

candles, or blankets—please prepare them in advance!

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel to  destinations?

Yes! I’m based in Castle Rock, CO, but I’m happy to travel anywhere in Colorado—or even to other states! I charge an additional $50 for locations 30–60 miles away, $100 for locations 60–90 miles away, and $150 for anything over 90 miles. Traveling to other states is a subject to be discussed personally.



2. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

I always recommend booking your photo session in advance. To reserve your date, I require a $50 deposit for 1–2 hour sessions and $100 for weddings.

The deposit is refundable if you cancel at least two weeks before your session. If you need to reschedule for personal reasons, I kindly ask that you do so at least one week in advance.

If the weather conditions aren’t ideal, we can absolutely reschedule as well.

3. how do you deliver the photos?

All edited photos are delivered through a beautiful, easy-to-use online gallery.

4. will you use our photos for your portfolio?

That’s a great question! Yes, I reserve the right to use photos from our session on my social media, website, and portfolio.

If you prefer that your photos remain private, please just let me know in advance—I completely understand and will respect your wishes.

5. will you send us the original unedited photos?

I don’t provide unedited (RAW) images, as they are unfinished and don’t reflect the final quality and style of my work. Each photo I deliver is carefully selected and professionally edited to match the look you see in my portfolio.

If you’d like additional edited images beyond what’s included in your package, they are absolutely available for purchase — I’d be happy to help you choose your favorites!
